Guided by a bold vision and organizing effort from the Prometheus Radio Project, Radio Spark was built to provide new Low Power FM applicants a place to share resources and technical information necessary to start Low Power FM stations. The site contains a social networking element, resource and station mapping as well as forums, q&a element and a ton of other stuff.
I had the opportunity to build a site for Selma James, a groundbreaking theorist and autonomist marxist feminist. The site was a basic blog and calendar for a book tour for the release of her anthology Race, Sex and Class. The design riffs on the colors and design of her book.
This is a site built in conjunction with prisoners at SCI Greene and family members to help facilitate families and friends of prisoners respond to situations of inmate abuse by prison guards.
